Usually, the patient comes for a mammological examination for pain (mastodynia), palpable mass, fluid discharge. On examination we can observe a change in breast symmetry, shape, skin color (orange peel appearance), indentation and eczema of the nipple, breast ulceration, extensive redness of the breast in case of streptococcal inflammation or inflammatory carcinoma, projection and other problems of the skin. It is necessary to palpate the breasts, the right and left axilla, the supraclavicular and subclavian triangles.
